Printing from CONTOUR.

To send a table to your printer, click the "Print" menu item from the main screen.

You may print out a profile graph by clicking the "Print Graph of Radial" menu item when the on-screen profile graph is showing . CONTOUR print outs will use both the default company name on the Setup page and the users title found at the bottom of the main page.

To send a table to your printer, click "Print" from the main screen and then select "Print Distance to Contour Table." Click "Print "Delta h Table" to print out a distance versus elevation, delta h table."

To setup your printer, click "Default Printer Setup" then click the "Printer" down-arrow button and select your printer. Depending on the printer, you may select the page orientation, font type and size from this page. CONTOUR uses non-proportional fonts so that the columns will line up. We recommend that the Courier New font be used, however some proportional fonts look good as well, such as the Arial font.

Customizing the printout

You may customize your printouts by checking the boxes on the "Defaults Screen" screen that represent a column type. This will turn on or off the following columns: "Ave. Elev", "HAAT", "Pwr dBk", "Pwr kW" and "Percent Field."

The Std Format check mark produces a printed output identical to the original V-Soft Communication's CONTOUR DOS program's "Average Elevation" printout. This results in a centered page of up to two signal levels. When the "Std Format" mode is activated, the default columns for the program become "Azimuth", "Average Elevation", "Power in dBk", and "Contour Distance."
