Calculating the Area within a Contour

To calculate the area within any given signal contour set up your study for 360 radials and set the slider for one contour. Enter the contour value and percent field value and then click the View button. At the end of your on screen listing you will find the area within the contour using the numeric integration method. This method sums the squares of each distance contour, divides by the 360 radials and then multiplies the result by Pi.

The area calculation is not available for multiple contour studies or for studies having fewer than 360 radials.
