print and video settings

WPM32 is automatically set up when InterDLG installs to your hard drive. The colors and pen thicknesses are automatically set at installation. Any of these parameters can be changed by double clicking the name of one of your maps in the InterDLG list box which will display the map on your screen. Next use your mouse to click “Config” then click “Set Configuration” . This will bring up the “Change Configuration” box where you can select video screen pen colors and pen widths (using the “pen properties” button) or printer pen colors and pen widths using the “Print Pen Properties.”
To change a video property, such as a line color, click the “Pen properties” button. A box will be displayed with each pen used in your drawing. Highlight the pen you wish to change and then change the color using the “Colordialog” button or the Red, Green, Blue sliders.

You may also change the pen width by inserting a new width in the “Pen width” box. The pen widths are shown in decimal 1/1000. The use penwidth selection box should remain checked. The same is true for the “Overwrite Penwidth” and the “Overwrite PenColor” check boxes. Once you have selected a color or a new pen width click the “Apply” button. Then click “OK” to exit the configur page. The defaults values we have set for the change configuration page should not be changed. Close up the configuration page by clicking the “X” in the right top corner of the configuration window. Printer pen thickness and pen colors can be set up in the same manner by using the “Print Pen Properties” button.
WPM32 uses all Windows drivers. To terminate viewing a map frame hit the “Escape” button. You may use your mouse to define an area of the map that will be zoomed to fit the full screen. You may zoom as many times as you wish. The “R” key returns the map to the original “unzoomed” map. To print a zoomed portion of a map use the print function found on the far left of the WPM32 menu. Regular full map printing should take place from the InterDLG main screen using the “Print” button.
