Creating a Path:

There are two types of studies available with PLOTPATH:

Azimuth: Click the radio button under "Study Type" to create a radio path using the transmit site coordinates and azimuth and distance to the receiver site. The program will then enable the "End Point" azimuth and distance input boxes. Enter the true north azimuth in degrees under "Azimuth" and the path distance in kilometers under "Dist". If you enter the distance with the letter "M" appended to the end such as "50M" then program will accept the distance as miles and convert it to kilometers. Click the "Process" button to create the path.

Coordinates: Click the "Coordinates" radio button under "Study Type" to a build a radio path using the transmitter site coordinates as the starting point and the receiver coordinates as the ending point. Click the "Process" button to create the path. Coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds can can be carried to the first decimal place.

You may also use decimal coordinates in the ###.##### format.  If your coordinates are in this format you will need to place a - (negative) sign before the longitude for west longitudes and before the latitude for south latitudes,

PLOTPATH can be set up to work in NAD 27, NAD 23 or WSG 84 datums.
