The Transmitter / Receiver Window

The Transmitter / Receiver window is used to define an STL or point to point path which can be displayed on the 3D map or in the Profile Viewer.
The transmitter and receiver information must be completely entered in each box before the path can be plotted or viewed. The 3D Parameters section controls how the path will appear on the 3D map. The colors can be changed by clicking on the box showing the color for the path, tower, and fresnel curve.
View 2D Profile
This button displays the Profile viewer where the profile between the transmitter and receiver can be examined.
Setup Program for this Profile
Clicking this button will cause the program to reconfigure the 3D and 2D map windows to show the specified path.
System Analysis Study
This button will display the STL system analysis wizard. In the system analysis wizard information about the system such as locations, heights, losses, and gains can be entered (this information will default to the information contained on the Transmitter/Receiver window). The path loss, fade margin, and minimum recommended fade margin are calculated and a report can be generated.
