System Analysis Wizard

The system analysis wizard is used to calculate a full system report containing transmitter losses/gains, path loss, receiver losses, fade margin, and calculates a minimum recommended fade margin. Access the System Analysis Wizard from the Functions menu, or click the “System Analysis Study” button on the “Transmitter/Receiver” window .

The System Analysis Wizard consists of a series of pages where all of the information about the transmitter and receiver is entered. The information that is entered on the “Transmitter/Receiver” window will be used as the default where applicable. When finished entering information for a specific page, the “Next” button will continue on to the next page.

As information is entered a “mini-report” will be generated in the left hand side panel of the wizard window. After all of the information for the system has been entered, the final screen will allow the user to print the full report, save it to and ASCII file, and copy the report to the clipboard.
