The Functions Menu

The Functions menu allows quick access to Terrain-3D’s major functions.

System Route – This displays the system route window where a route of towers can be defined, and the 2D and 3D route options set.

STL System Analysis – This displays the STL system analysis wizard, where information about the system such as locations, heights, losses, and gains can be entered. The path loss, fade margin, and minimum recommended fade margin are calculated and a report can be generated.

Contours – This displays the contour list window where transmitters can be defined and contours added for each transmitter. This is also where the properties for each contour can be set (type of contour, color, line width, etc.).
