Vtower™ operates as a stand alone or as a linked program from our FMCommander or IDTower programs. With great speed VTower queries an indexed tower registration database. Search for all towers within a distance from your coordinates or search the database for an owner's name or a tower's address. The size of this database is 39 megabytes. It includes tower registration numbers, NAD 27 and 83 coordinates, tower structure type, date of the last action, date constructed, location, height, base elevation, total structure height to beacon, FAA circular number, FAA chapter and FAA study number, owner's name, address, phone number and email address. We update the database once per week and provide it on this web site as a service to subscribers. When linked to our IDTowers program, a double click on an IDTower entry will bring up VTower with full details on the selected tower. See IDSeries - IDTowers. When linked to our FMCommander program, with a tower overlay showing on its map screen the user simply clicks the tower of choice and Vtower acquires and displays all details as is shown above.
